ESERO - CanSat UK:

Launch Access Ltd were awarded the contract to deliver the 2023 ESERO/STEM Learning UK 'CanSat' competition, supported by the UK Space Agency.

This exciting national project required several months of planning and preparation including securing several new launch sites for regional events and ultimately resulted in over a hundred successful rocket launches carrying 'CanSat' payloads for thousands of UK students.

Norwich Science Festival:

Launch Access Ltd delivered more than a dozen 'Rocket to the Moon' stomp-rocket workshops to hundreds of families and children during February 2023.

These exciting workshops gave chidlren from the ages of 6 to 16 the chance to learn the basics of rocket science and to put that knowledge to the test by using craft supplies to build their own air-powered rocket and then competing to launch it to land as close as possible to a marked landing site on a giant printed 'moon'.

These workshops received huge amounts of positive feedback and were among the most popular at the festival.

Girls Day School Trust: Launch:

In June 2023 Launch Access Ltd provided a bespoke rocket launch service in support of the Girls Day School Trust. The trust wanted to flight-test an experimental payload, developed with the help of the Cambridge Spaceflight Team at Cambridge University, onboard a rocket.

The initial launch targeted an apogee of 1km and utilised a dual-stage recovery system to return the payload and carrierrocket within a couple of hundred meters of the launch point, despite a strong breeze on the launch day.

This project is a great demonstration of our bespoke/fast response launch capability utilising our stable of more than fifty ready-to-fly rocket systems with a wide range of performance capabilities.
